See copy of Fire Department letter attached to returned plans. Copy of letter mailed this date to owner and applicant. NOTE on the plans that these plans are in compliance with California Building and Fire Codes (1995) and District Amendment. Plans must comply with the requirements of California Fire Code Article 52 and 79 and shall be prepared and sealed by a Registered Engineer competent in this field. Fire flow requirements for the subject property are 1500 gallons per minute. Note on the plans the required and available fire flow. The available fire flow information can be obtained from the water company. SHOW on the plans a public fire hydrant within 250 feet of any portion of the storage tank meeting the minimum required fire flow. SHOW on the plans location of fire extinguishers Provide Fire Department padlock for gate. 8/4/98 APPROVED. See copy of Fire Department letter attached to returned plans. Copy of letter mailed to owner. Approved plans consist of Bowman and Williams 7/1/98 plans Job No. 20943-1 and Buehler & Buehler Associates plans dated 4/96 with structural approval from M. Todd Thorp from Bowman & Williams. Provide fire extinguisher(s) as located on Detail Plan page 2 of 2. Provide Fire Department padlock for gate. Maintain a clearance of all flammable vegetation or othe combustible materials within 30 feet around fuel tank. 24 hours notice in advance is required for final inspection. Plan check is based upon plans submitted to this office. Any changes or alterations shall be re-submitted for review prior to construction. NOTE: As a condition of submittal of these plans, the submitter, designer and installer certify that these plans and details comply with applicable Specifications, Standards, Codes and Ordinances, agree that they are solely responsible for compliance with applicable Specifications, Standards, Codes and Ordinances, and further agree to correct any deficiencies noted by this review, subsequent review, inspection or other source, and, to hold harmless and without prejudice, the reviewer and reviewing agency.
