1.  A0.1:  Please include in the scope of work that exterior work done under permit B-113691 will be inspected until permit is finalized.

 

2.  A0.1:  Please include in the scope of work that the installation of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in required locations will be confirmed in all sleeping units of this building.

 

3.  CBC 1134B addresses accessibility requirements for existing buildings.  In order to determine which requirements apply it is necessary that the applicant provide the total construction costs for the proposed project.  If this total is more than $139,934.00, all of the provisions of CBC 1134B.2.1 will apply.  If the total budget is less than the stated valuation threshold then the applicant may request the use of the exception which allows that 20 percent of the total budget be dedicated to accessible improvements.  If you wish to apply this exception please complete the form available at http://www.sccoplanning.com/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=eJbKjqVIzBI%3d&tabid=1484

 

4.  2/A8.2:  Please provide manufacture’s installation instructions and ICC-ES report for the proposed waterproofing membrane assembly.

 

5.  Welding requires Special Inspection per CBC Table 1704.3 (Item #5).  Please complete two copies of the Special Inspection and Testing Agreement and two copies of the Statement of Special Inspection.  You may download a copy of these forms from our website at http://www.sccoplanning.com/ (go to Forms under the Building & Safety tab). Note: Selected inspection agency must be pre-approved by the Building Official.  Refer to the approved agency list.
