Please be advised that your second plan submittal will require a second plan check. If additional comments are required to be addressed for a third plan check, additional charges will be added to your permit fee at an hourly rate. Further comments may be forth coming upon additional review. Due to the incomplete nature of the plan submittal a complete review could not occur at this time. 1. There is a 42” counter at the billing area shown on sheet A4. Sheet M-3 specifies “clear exit area 6’ W x 5’ D at this location. Please coordinate the plans. If there is a counter area, provide a lowered section that is 36” wide minimum and does not exceed 34” above the finished floor. [CBC 11B-227.1 and 11B-904] 2. The project description includes work in only Suite D1 (the left side of Building D). Please revise the plans to eliminate any new work in the other suite. Revise the lighting compliance documents, as these included the whole building. 3. Please include the lighting types in the schedules on E-4 and E-5 to correspond with the maximum wattage used in the lighting form, NRCC-LT1-01-E, for energy compliance. 4. Please include air volumes for the supply and return registers such that a balanced system may be verified. Note balancing tests are required per CMC 317. 5. Please indicate all existing mechanical components on Sheet M-3 for this tenant space in Suite D1. 6. Please provide ventilation air to comply with the rates in CMC Table 402.1 on sheet M-3. It has been stated that the lighting compliance sheets may not be provided for only one of the tenant spaces. The latest plan set does not include a lighting plan for space D-2. It is not possible to verify the lighting information in the energy forms without a lighting plan for both spaces. Please provide a lighting plan for space D-2, while still keeping the note “no work in this area”. 2. The lighting plan does not correspond with the lighting legend and energy documents. For example, there is a lighting fixture type A-15 that is on the plans. The legend shows a different fixture type for an “A” fixture. The energy documents do not describe the fixture, but call for eight 100 watt fixtures, which appear to be the A-15 light at both spaces D-1 and D-2 (used older plan set version for plan checking to verify). Please coordinate the plan, legend and energy documents. The energy documents should include a description of the fixtures, as required in Table B, page 3 of 5 on the NRCC-LT1-03-E form. 3. Please include daylit areas on the plans and provide separate controls. 4. A revised sheet M-3 was not included in the latest set of plans to address the mechanical plan check comments 4 through 6 in the last plan check. Please submit revised M-3 sheets.
