Review No:1

1. Please submit energy compliance form NRCC-LTS-01-E for sign lighting. This form shall be signed by the energy compliance author and lighting designer for the sign. [CA Energy Standard 10-103(a)1.

 


2. All outdoor sign lighting is required to be controlled with one of the following two options:


     a. A photocontrol in addition to an automatic time-switch control, or


     b. An astronomical time-switch control.

3. All outdoor sign lighting that is ON both day and night shall be controlled with a dimmer that provides the ability to automatically reduce sign lighting power by a minimum of 65 percent during nighttime hours.


Signs that are illuminated at night and for more than 1 hour during daylight hours shall be considered ON both day and night.

4.  Specify grounding and bonding for the signs and metal parts and equipment per CEC 600.7.
