1. CBC 11B-202.4(8) addresses accessibility requirements for existing buildings. In order to determine which requirements apply it is necessary that the applicant provide the total construction costs for the proposed project. If this total is more than $147,863.00, all of the provisions of CBC 11B-202.4(8) will apply. If the total budget is less than the stated valuation threshold then the applicant shall apply 20 percent of the total budget to accessible improvements. A priority list is enumerated in the referenced code section. Please document the proposal by completing the applicable form:

3. E-1: Please note on the cover sheet that Non-Residential Lighting Control Acceptance Testing & Certification is required by final inspection and that control wiring shall be verified at the rough electrical inspection. In addition, please specify proposed controls for the project.
4. E-1: The floor plan indicates that day light controls are not required while the note and energy docs indicate that they are. Please clarify.
5. E-1: Please demarcate daylight zones on the floor plan.
6. E-1: Please designate controlled and uncontrolled receptacles to meet energy code requirements. CEnC 130.5(d)
7. P-2: Please provide accessible details for the break room sink. The sink base shall provide knee and toe clearance and have a 34 maximum height. CBC 11B-808.4
