Plans approved as submitted. Detailed sign plan will be required with historic review at staff level pursuant to 16.42.060 E. For future phases, changes to the exterior of all buildings affecting the exterior appearance, changes to the interior public areas of the Brookdale Lodge building noted as significant in the Historic Resources Inventory, and interior or exterior changes to the log cabin lobby building, shall require submittal of a historic preservation plan with review and approval by the Historic Resources Commission.

The James Dean mural contributes to the historic character of the property. Any changes to the mural will require review and approval by the HRC.
