Please provide a plan review letter or review form from the geotechnical engineer of record confirming that the proposed plans are in general conformance with the recommendations of the soils report. 5. Please revise the construction waste notes on A0.1 and GB1 to specify 65% of construction waste to be recycled, salvaged or reused. [CALGreen 5.408.1]
6. Please include total areas of new or replaced structures. Include overhang dimension for canopies to verify total area.
7. Please correct the north arrow on Sheets D1.1 and A1.1so that the actual orientation of the building is shown. The north arrow should be turned roughly 45 degrees clockwise from what is currently shown.
8. Please specify the roof insulation type and application. Unvented roof assemblies are allowed if the type of insulation is air impermeable and the insulation is in direct contact with the roof sheathing. R-30 minimum is the designed insulation in the energy documentation. [CBC 1203.3]
9. Please specify minimum R-19 in the walls on cross-sections to correspond with the energy compliance documents.
10. Please include roofing specifications to verify compliance with cool roof requirements in the energy compliance documents. Minimum 0.63 aged solar reflectance and minimum 0.75 thermal emittance is required.
11. Energy compliance documents design ventilation requirements. Please clarify if any new systems, other than the installation of new
package air conditioning units are to be installed with this permit. If so, please include system details and specifications on the mechanical plans.
