The Central Fire
Protection District has reviewed the plans for the above cited project and the
following corrections are required before approval can be obtained.
Please add the
appropriate NOTES, DETAILS and INFORMATION on your plans and RESUBMIT with an annotated copy of this
letter. All changes to drawings will
require "clouding of the change".

Will any medical gases be stored in this
structure? If so, type, quantities and
location shall be noted and shown.

Prior to making any alterations on the fire
alarm system, plans must be submitted to the Central Fire Protection District
for plan check and approval. The plans included with this submittal have not
been reviewed. Plans shall be submitted
by a California Licensed Alarm Contractor.
The plan pages noted as FA0.1, FA1.1 and FA2.1 may be used for the
submittal provided that a letter from the architect is also submitted with the
package.

Plans submittal shall include all
manufacturer’ cut sheets and the OSFM listings for all equipment and
components.
NOTE on the plans “the designer/installer
shall submit two (2) sets of plans and calculations for the Fire Alarm System
to this agency for approval.”
NOTE and SHOW on the plans “building numbers shall be provided. Numbers shall be a minimum of six (6) inches
in height on a contrasting background and visible from the street. Where
numbers are not visible from the street, additional numbers shall be installed
on a directional sign at the property driveway and the street.”
SHOW on the plans the location of the KNOX
BOX. If no KNOX BOX exists, one will be
required to be installed.
Door schedule does
not appear to show any panic hardware.
Make the appropriate corrections.
NOTE on the plans ”the job copies of the
building and fire systems plans and permits must be on-site during inspections.”
Note: As a
condition of submittal of these plans, the submitter, designer and installer
certify that these plans and details comply with applicable Specifications,
Standards, Codes and Ordinances, agree that they are solely responsible for
compliance with applicable Specifications, Standards, Codes and Ordinances, and
further agree to correct any deficiencies noted by this review, subsequent
review, inspection or other source, and, to hold harmless and without
prejudice, the reviewer and reviewing agency.

Based upon a review of the plans submitted, District
requirements appear to have been met, and PLANS ARE APPROVED FOR PERMIT.
The job copies of the building and fire system plans and
permits must be on-site during inspection.
Submit a check in the amount of $2330.00 for this particular
plan check, made payable to Central Fire Protection District. INVOICE MAILED TO OWNER OF RECORD. A $75.00 Late
Fee may be added to your plan check fees if payment is not received within 30 days of the date of this letter. Please contact the Fire Prevention Administrative
Assistant for total fees due for your project.
Fire District fees must be paid and a receipt for District fees must be
presented to the County Planning Department before Building Permit issuance.
Upon completion of the above listed requirements please
call the Fire Prevention Division to set up an appointment for an
inspection. You will be asked for an
address and Assessors Parcel Number (APN).
A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS NOTICE
to the fire department is required prior to inspection.
