Sheet C6: With reference to the waste line underneath the building floor slab: remove the words "sewer lateral" and insert the words "building sewer drain". This portion of the line in NOT part of the Sanitation review but, as the "building sewer drain", is part of the Building review. Provide an on-site manhole, east of the property line and downstream from all sources of effluent, for maintenance of the system. Provide a backflow prevention device near the southern end of the building. The plans show two sewer lines in 17th avenue. Both those lines were removed a few years ago. There is now only a single 24" main in approximately the middle of the street. Please contact the District for a copy of the as-built. There is no longer an existing manhole at approximately the driveway location. You will be required to provide one. Note that the main is approximately 12'-14' below grade. Note 16 and 17 are "water", not "sanitation", notes; please relocate. Add a note: The property owner shall be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and reporting on the interceptor/grease trap on a schedule approved in writing by the District Environmental Compliance Unit. Add a note: No tenant improvements are approved as part of this permit. The property owner shall be responsible for applying for building permits for all tenant spaces. It is a condition of this permit that all future TI permits on this parcel be routed to the Sanitation District for review and approval prior to issuance of a building permit for those TIs. Sheet C7 Show the sewer lateral in the appropriate profile. Sheet C9 Note 1 on Figure SS-17 requires the size of the grease trap to be approved by the District Engineer. Provide, directly to the Sanitation District for our review, the anticipated nature, maximum load, and source of the effluent that would flow through the grease trap. .
