Review No:11. Please dimension maneuvering space for employees at the service counter areas. Clear width for aisles shall be 36” minimum if serving elements on only one side, and 44 inches minimum if serving elements on both sides. [CBC 11B-403.5.1]
2. Please dimension maximum height at service and transaction counters to be 34” maximum. For forward approaches, there shall be knee and toe clearance. [CBC 11B227, 904.4]
3. If the counter at the bar seating area exceeds 34”, there shall be a minimum 60” long counter that is no more than 34” above finish floor with knee and toe clearance provided. Please include information for the bar counter on the plans. [CBC 11B-226.3]
4. Please detail and specify knee and toe clearance and accessible faucets at employee work area hand sinks. [CBC 11B-212.3]
5. Please specify exit signs to be located adjacent to the exit doors with Tactile signage and Type II Braille. [CBC 1013.4]
6. Please identify indirect waste pipe and an air gap on the plumbing plans. This is required at refrigerators, refrigeration coils. freezers, iceboxes, ice-making machines, coffee urns and brewers, hot-and-cold drink dispensers, and similar equipment where crosscontamination may occur. An air gap shall be not less than 1” measured from the lowest point of the indirect waste pipe to the flood-level rim of the receptor. [CPC 801]
7. Please submit revised energy compliance forms (MECH) for the additional roof top unit.
8. Please have the engineer responsible for the roof framing calculations determine if any additional support is required for the additional roof top unit. Provide a change order for the shell building permit, as applicable.
9. Please revise general note 1 on E100 to refer to E001 and E002, rather than E0.1 and E0.2.
10. Please refer to the lighting schedule located on Sheet E300 from the lighting plan, E100.
