1. Please submit structural calculations that are stamped and signed for the stair design, using the design criteria from the project engineer and minimum live loads in CBC Table 1607.1, which is 100 psf live load and a non-concurrent 300 lb. concentrated load.  
 
2.  Please include stair stringer connection design and detailing  to support framing.  
  3. Please specify the approved fabricator for the stairs (IAS, AISC, City of LA or other approving body), or specify special inspection for shop welding will be performed. If the stair has already been fabricated and the fabricator was not approved, a special inspection agency report is required. For approved fabricator construction, a certificate of compliance is required. CBC 1704.2
