Review No:2

Please note that the Consumer Protection Program has requested payment for this plan submittal and no payment has been received. The Building Department does not collect permit fees for the Consumer Protection Program, thus you must pay fees directly with this Agency. No approvals will be issued without payment. Following are comments for the V2 submittal:

1. Clarify the purpose of the room labeled (E) bar

storage on page A2.1. Will this be used for any backstock of the coffee shop or

is it used for liquor bar storage for a bar located elsewhere? If this room is

not used for backstock for the coffee shop indicate where backup dry storage

such as beans, cups, paper goods, syrups, etc., for the coffee shop is located.

2. Clarify that there are no blended drinks available at this location. No

blenders are shown on the plans

3. The kegerator, the two (2) undercounter refrigeration units and the ice machine, all

shown on page A3.1, elevation 1, must be installed on six (6) inch legs or commercial

castors. Revise the elevation drawing.

4. A grease trap is shown installed in a cabinet under the coffee area handwashing sink.

This location is not approved for a grease trap. The grease trap must be located out of

the food handling area in a location that can be easily accessed from an exterior door for

service and pumping of the grease trap. The grease trap must also be recessed in the

floor.
