Upon review
of the plans for the above-cited project, the following corrections are
required before approval can be obtained.
?Please add the appropriate NOTES, DETAILS and
INFORMATION on your plans and RESUBMIT
with an annotated copy of this letter.
All changes to drawings will require "clouding of the change".
?NOTE on the plans “these plans are in
compliance with California Building and Fire Codes (2019 edition) and ?Aptos /La
Selva Fire Protection District Ammendments.
?NOTE on the plans “the OCCUPANCY
CLASSIFICATION, BUILDING CONSTRUCTION TYPE / FIRE RATING and SPRINKLERED or
NON-SPRINKLERED as determined by the building official and outlined in the
California Building Code. (e.g. B, Type V-1hr, Sprinklered)”
?NOTE on plans that modifications to the existing
fire alarm system shall be a deferred submittal.
?NOTE As part of final approval, the fire
alarm system will be required to be recertified by a licensed fire alarm
company. A copy will be provided to the
agency of reference
?NOTE on the plans “the designer/installer
shall submit two (2) sets of plans and calculations for the Fire Alarm System
to the agency of reference for approval.”
?SHOW
on the floor plan, location of fire extinguishers.
?NOTE on the plans “building numbers shall be
provided. Numbers shall be a minimum of
six (6) inches in height on a contrasting background and visible from the
street.
?NOTE on the plans” the job copies of the
building and fire systems plans and permits must be on-site during
inspections.”

hold harmless and without prejudice, the reviewer and reviewing agency.

Based upon a review of the plans submitted, District requirements appear
to have been met, and PLANS ARE APPROVED FOR PERMIT.
The job copies of the building and fire system plans and permits must be
on-site during inspection.
Submit a check in the amount of $720.00 for this
particular plan check, made payable to:
? Aptos/La Selva Fire Protection District
INVOICE MAILED TO OWNER OF RECORD.
A Late Fee may be added to
your plan check fees if payment is not received within 30 days of the date of this letter.
Please contact the Community Risk Coordinator for total fees due for
your project. Fire District fees must be
paid and a receipt for District fees must be presented to the ?County
Planning Department or ?City of Capitola before Building Permit
issuance.
Upon completion of the above listed requirements please call the Community
Risk Division to set up an appointment for an inspection. You will be asked for an address and Assessor’s
Parcel Number (APN). A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS NOTICE to the
fire department is required prior to inspection.
