plans for the above subject project and unfortunately, THE PLANS HAVE BEEN
DENIED.
Please have the
DESIGNER add appropriate NOTES and DETAILS showing this information and RESUBMIT
plans, VIA COUNTY, with an
annotated copy of this letter.
CORRECT on plans, sheet
A0.1, fire protection notes #7. Correct
maximum fire hydrant distance is 600 feet for sprinklered dwellings and the fire
flow requirement for residential structures is 1000 GPM.
The FIRE FLOW
requirement for the subject property is 1000 gallons per minute for 120
minutes. NOTE on the plans the
REQUIRED and AVAILABLE FIRE FLOW. The
AVAILABLE FIRE FLOW information can be obtained from the water company.
CORRECT on plans, sheet
Mo.1, fire notes #5, the Fire Prevention Officer’s Standard to FPO-005 –
Sprinkler guideline for one & two family dwellings on public water. FPO-0006 if for private water systems.
SHOW on the plans a public fire hydrant, type and location,
meeting the minimum required fire flow for the building, within 600 feet of any
portion of the building if the building is equipped with an automatic fire
sprinkler system.
NOTE on the plans that fire sprinkler are a deferred
submittal and that the designer/installer shall submit two (2) sets of plans,
calculations, and cut sheets for the underground and overhead residential
automatic sprinkler system to this agency for approval. Installation shall follow our guide
sheet. Cut sheets shall include, but not
limited to piping, valves, gauges, and sprinkler heads.
SHOW the location of the SA/CO detector outside the bedroom
on the first level.
NOTE on the plans that a 30-foot clearance will be
maintained with non-combustible vegetation around all structures.

As a condition of
submittal of these plans, the submitter, designer and installer certify that
these plans and details comply with applicable Specifications, Standards, Codes
and Ordinances, agree that they are solely responsible for compliance with
applicable Specifications, Standards, Codes and Ordinances, and further agree
to correct any deficiencies noted by this review, subsequent review, inspection
or other source. Further, the submitter,
designer, and installer agrees to hold harmless from any and all alleged claims
to have arisen from any compliance deficiencies, without prejudice, the reviewer
and the District.

Based upon a review of the plans submitted, District
requirements appear to have been met, and
PLANS ARE APPROVED FOR PERMIT.
The job copies of
the building and fire system plans and permits must be on-site during
inspection.
Upon completion of the above listed requirements please
call the Community Risk Reduction Division to set up an appointment for an
inspection. You will be asked for an address and Assessor’s Parcel Number
(APN). A MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS NOTICE to the Fire District is required prior
to inspection.
Submit a check in the amount of $1010.18 for this
particular plan check, made payable to Central Fire District.

Fire District fees must be paid and a receipt for
District fees must be presented to the County Planning Department before
Building Permit issuance. A $75.00 late
fee may be added to your plan
check fees if payment is not received within 30 days of the date of this letter.
