Responses must include an annotated copy of these comments and indicate the specific sheet/drawing numbers where revisions are located. Text can be copied from the Application Status webpage and pasted into a text editing program.
Please Respond: Have changes been made in addition to those resulting from the Building Review Comments? ___________ (Yes or No). If yes, please briefly describe the additional changes and the location on the plans/documents:
1. Please include wall, floor and ceiling assemblies. The required one hour assembly for walls and floor/ceiling between units, STC min. 50 for airborne sound for walls and floor /ceiling between units, and IIC minimum for floor/ceiling impact sound between units shall be maintained. These provisions were required at the time of original construction. Existing conditions need to be maintained. CBC 420.2, 420.3, 1206.2, 1206.3
2. Please include specifications and/or details for plumbing penetrations through the repaired fire partition wall. CBC 714.4
3. Please specify connections for the sistered floor joists.
4. Please specify shear wall material and nailing for the repaired wall to correspond with the report recommendations.
