Review No:1 1. Please meet all comments from DPW Traffic, Transportation, and Road Engineering, plus any other agency requests for improvements in the right of way. A traffic control plan will be necessary for work on East Cliff DR. when installing driveway. Please make clear on the plans if any trenching is required in the right of way for water, gas or electrical service. An encroachment permit will be required for any trenching proposed in the right of way. Before your building application can be approved please submit an encroachment permit application with plans (only the sheets showing work in R-O-W) via email toDpwEncroachments@santacruzcounty.us . Driveway fee will be charged to building permit; fee includes site inspection for building permit review and plan check. The fee also includes inspections required for driveway and final.
2. A hold will be placed on the building permit for driveway final inspection. Please call 831-454-2054 at least 1 week in advance of driveway work.
3. An encroachment permit will be required for trenching (except sewer) and any work other than driveway proposed in the County Right Of Way.
