Plan review comments:

1) Form PLG-200, revise the scope of work to include the proposed backup generator. Only an interlock devise is stated. Also clearly state whether the proposed generator will be portable or permanent connection.

2) Sheet 2, Electrical Line Diagram, for the proposed generator inter-connection to the (N) 100A sub-panel, clearly stated whether the system will be a portable connection or a permanent connection.

3) Sheet 2, Electrical Line Diagram, for the proposed generator inter-connection to the (N) 100A sub-panel, clearly state either the proposed generator portable branch circuit conductor size, type, raceway and outlet, or provide the following for a permanent generator installation:

There are no permits on record for a generator or ATS. Provide the following information if this will be a permanent generator installation:

a) Provide a revised Building Permit Application Form PLG-200 to include the permanent generator.

b) On sheet 3, site plan,  show the location for the (N) permanent generator, with dimensions to the property lines and distance to the dwelling.

c) Provide the generator anchoring details with concrete slab details or other system.

d) Provide an LP gas piping schematic for BTU sizing and pipe schedule type between the propane tank and the (N) generator. Include a gas pipe trench detail.

e) Provide a statement for the required gas seismic shut off valve required for the altered gas line, to be installed at the propane tank on the load side of the regulator. (Be aware a gas pressure test will be required in the field)

f) Provide an electrical trench detail from the generator to the dwelling.

g) Provide electrical details for the back feed electrical circuit between the (N) generator and the N) 100A sub-panel to include the conductor size, type, raceway and details for either an underground or above ground installation.

h) Provide a generator manufacturer specification sheet.
