At this time, accrued code costs of $323.20 are due and payable to the Planning Division under County Code Section 1.12.070 C which states, “A person violating any of the provisions of this code which would otherwise be a misdemeanor shall be liable to pay the county’s costs of enforcement, including charges for reasonable attorney’s fees.”

 

If payment is not received within 60 days of the date of this letter, we will refer this matter to County Collections and/or seek further legal action to recover the County’s costs, including any additional costs that may be incurred to recover the balance due.

If the notice of violation was recorded on title, contact the Planning Division to request an expungement.  Expungements are currently billed at$128.00. Personal checks will have a 30 day waiting period before expungements are recorded. For cash, cashier’s check or money order, the expungements are recorded within 5 business days.
