Active security alarms located in Unincorporated Santa Cruz County must be registered with the Sheriff’s Office. If your alarm is located within the cities of Santa Cruz, Capitola, Scotts Valley, or Watsonville, please check with your local police department.
Fee Increase Notice: As of July 1st, 2026, annual alarm registration renewals are $40.00. New alarm registrations are $50.00.
