65.   APPROVED amendment to agreement with Stantec Consulting, Inc. for design engineering services for one additional Federal Emergency Management Agency project on Highland Way by increasing the compensation $48,750 for a not-to-exceed amount of $148,750; approved the revised 2007/08 schedule of billing for the original scope of services and approved related actions, as recommended by the Director of Public Works

66.   APPROVED permit conditions for the Santa Cruz Mountains Challenge 2008 Bike Ride Event on July 26, 2008 and directed the Public Works Department to issue the ride permit upon receipt of the $100 processing fee, as recommended by the Director of Public Works

67.   APPROVED the road closure for the Boulder Creek Parade; adopted RESOLUTION NO. 77-2008 requesting the California Department of Transportation allow the parade to be held; and direct the Public Works Department to issue the parade permit upon receipt of the $100.00 processing fee, as recommended by the Director of Public Works

68.   APPROVED the road closures for the Thirty-Sixth Annual Wharf-to-Wharf Race for July 27, 2008, and directed the Public Works Department to issue the race permit upon receipt of the $100 processing fee, as recommended by the Director of Public Works

69.   APPROVED road closures and permit for the May 3, 2008 Davenport Cinco De Mayo celebration, and approved related action, as recommended by the Director of Public Works

70.   AUTHORIZED a contribution of $1,600 from Public Works and $200 from Environmental Health (Zone 4) for the purpose of supporting the Earth Day 2008 event, as recommended by the Directors of Public Works and the Health Services Agency

71.   AS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SANTA CRUZ COUNTY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, APPROVED amendment to a contract with The Landscape Company for landscape maintenance services, increasing the contract to a total not-to-exceed amount of $30,000, and approved related actions, as recommended by the Redevelopment Agency Administrator

999.   WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE LISTING: The Written Correspondence Listing is established to act as a report of materials received by the Board as a whole but may also include items requested for inclusion by individual Supervisors. Upon completion of any actions deemed necessary (i.e. acknowledgment, referral, etc.), these items are included in the Written Correspondence Listing under the appropriate heading. While these items are not part of the official record of meetings of the Board of Supervisors, they will be maintained by the Clerk of the Board for a period of two years, after which time they may be destroyed after the County's Historic Resources Commission has been provided an opportunity for review.
