PURPOSE:

The purpose of the Employee Longevity Program is to honor years of service performed by County Employees.

POLICY:

Monies have been set aside in the Personnel Department's budget for an employee longevity program which entails presentation to long-term employees (e.g. those with 10 years of service or more) some sort of recognition or award.

Several proposals are being considered. A final decision on the outline of the program is pending.
