Upon review
of the plans for the above-cited project, the following corrections are
required before approval can be obtained.
Please add the appropriate NOTES, DETAILS and INFORMATION on your
plans and RESUBMIT with an annotated
copy of this letter. All changes to
drawings will require "clouding of the change".
F1. Sheet G1.0/Occupancy Tabulation. The
Lobby occupant load factor (OLF) states 60. However, per CBC 1004.5 the Lobby
occupant load factor should be 15. Revise the plans accordingly or justify.
F2. Sheet G1.0/Occupancy Tabulation. The
Studio should be an occupant load factor (OLF) of 50 gross (CBC 1004.5). Revise
the plans to show.
F3. Sheet G3.0. Revise plans to show door
hardware. Show required "THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN THIS SPACE IS
OCCUPIED" signage, as applicable. (2022 CBC 1010.2.4).
F4. Revise the plans to show (paste) each of
the following notes, as applicable:
?NOTE on the plans “these plans follow
California Building and Fire Codes (2022 edition) and reference ?Central Fire Protection District Amendments.
?Monitoring
of the sprinkler system by a constantly attended location, U.L. Central Station
may be required due to special circumstances.
As part of
final approval, the fire alarm system will be required to be recertified by a
licensed fire alarm company. A copy will
be provided to the agency of reference.
Prior to
making any alterations on the fire alarm system, plans must be submitted to the
agency of reference for plan check and approval.
?NOTE on the plans” the job copies of the
building and fire systems plans and permits must be on-site during
inspections.”

hold harmless and without prejudice, the reviewer and reviewing agency.

Based upon review of the plans submitted, District requirements have been
met, and plans are approved for this permit.
The amount due
for this plan review is $1,161.60. A $75.00 late fee may be added to your plan check fees
if payment is not received within 30
days of the date on the corresponding invoice.
To pay online,
please visit our District website at centralfiresc.org “Make a
Payment” (APN is required).
Otherwise, check
payment shall be made payable to Central Fire District and either
dropped off or mailed to the address below.

Fire District fees must be paid, and a
receipt for District fees must be presented to the ?County
Planning Department before Building Permit issuance.
Upon completion
of the above listed requirements, please call the Community Risk Reduction
Division to set up an appointment for an inspection. You will be asked for an
address and/or Assessors’ Parcel Number (APN). A minimum of 48 hours’ notice to
the Fire District is required prior to inspection. The job copies of the
building and fire system plans/permits must be on-site during inspection.
